Our exclusive CW bands are under constant threat of further loss of bandwidth. The best way to defend our CW bands is to be active. But active where? For non-5NN-tu QTT, the answer is in the “TOP 9”!
The TOP9 means the top 9kHz of the CW sub-band, i.e.:

- 10121-10130
- 14061-14070
- 18086-18095
- 21061-21070
- 24906-24915
- 28061-28070
The already narrow bands of 17m and 12m are under imminent threat of loss of 5kHz if the IARU conspiracy gets its way. Therefore there is also the TOP5!
TOP9 is also known as the “Friendship” are for CW, and we encourage TOP5 which is within TOP9 but the higher end, for activity whenever possible:
